Well, we had a very active weekend in our family again. Saturday was a big 40th birthday picnic for Deb's sister. It was a lot of fun. Monday we all went to Wild Mountain at Taylors Falls, MN. This has been a summer tradition for many years in the family, although we missed last year. Travis and Tyler both had to work, however. Travis is really enjoying his job at the grocery store and Tyler is doing well with detasseling. It makes it better that there are at least 4 others on this block who also detassel for the same company. And yesterday he got switched to their crew. Travis is also doing his behing the wheel driver's education this summer. He says it is going well. The teacher seems to think he is a good driver. We think he does pretty good too. It's hard to imagine that it is that close to him having a license! There goes our insurance rates (and our heart rates :-) Anyway...we will keep you posted on all our doings as they come up! We remember all of you, our family and friends often!

Thought we would at least attempt to put some things up here on this blog to fill our fam and friends in on what we are up to.


We are keeping busy as usual. Travis has started another job at our local grocery store. Tyler will be starting to detassel this week. Torrey is working on diving at the town pool and keeping up on his language studies...it's just what he likes to do! Taran is busy with a neighborhood friend named Jake. They had a sleep over last week at his home. We are still enjoying our block very much. We had an awesome 4th of July party at our neighbors house. We had a potluck, scavenger hunt, water balloon war, big air blow up jumping castle and of course lots of fireworks. Tanner just got done with his acting debut in a play at the local Baptist church called Father Knows best. He did very well! We will try and post here as much as we can. check back to see if there is anything new!
